Kristin Cavallari Style - Kristin's black shorts and black bustier

On Friday, Kristin visited The Saucery by Rao’s Homemade in Chicago, as part of her partnership with the brand.

Kristin wore a black bustier, black shorts, black heels and gold jewellery from her jewellery brand.

Kristin shared a handful of photos and a video on her Instagram Stories, announcing her appearance at the event from 12 to 1 PM CT (Central Time). She will be cooking a dish from her cookbook, Truly Simple, using the new Rao’s Homemade Caramalized Onion Sauce. The recipe was shared earlier on the Rao’s Homemade website.

Now let’s have a look at what Kristin wore.

She is wearing a matching design by Australian designer Shona Joy. Her top is the ‘Sara’ Strapless Bustier in Black ($282). Crafted out of lyocell and cotton, the strapless top has a ruched and corded bodice and features a cut-out detail at the front. The top is currently on sale for $175 on the brand’s website.

Her shorts are the ‘Sara’ Belted Tailored Shorts in Black ($282). Like the top, the high-waisted shorts are made of a lyocell/cotton blend, and feature a front knife pleat, belt loops with button detail, and a removeable belt. The brand list the shorts at $220.

Kristin paired her outfit with a pair of black heels, the ‘Saint’ Slipper by FEMME LA ($252). The slippers have a sharp pointed toe, and a puffy strap with a distinctive shape. They come with a 100mm spiked stiletto heel, and are made of vegan leather.

She accessorised with pieces from her own jewellery brand, Uncommon James. Around her neck, she wore the Uncommon James ‘Charming’ Necklace in Gold ($72), a thick circle chain necklace with a ring clasp detail. The necklace is from the brand’s Untamed collection, which I’ve recently been posting finds of (you can see them here).

I’m still looking for her other necklace, her bracelet, and her rings. I’m hoping more pictures will be released tomorrow!

Update 12 June: the first press photos from the event are beginning to trickle in.

Kristin wears the Uncommon James ‘Joie De Vivre’ Bracelet in Gold ($52), as suspected. The chain bracelet features a pendant inscribed with the French phrase “joie de vivre”, which means “joy of living.” She wore the exact same bracelet to the Variety TV FYC Fest a few days ago.

Her earrings are the Uncommon James ‘Not Your Baby’ Hoops in Gold ($58). The hoop earrings have a twisted triangle design, and are made of 14k gold-plated brass.

It looks like she’s also wearing the Uncommon James ‘Renaissance’ Necklace and another I can’t identify yet as it’s layered with another. I’m also waiting for more pictures for her rings

A fun addition I initially forgot to mention, is that Kristin was holding one of the two limited-edition Rao’s Homemade luxury handbag designs.

Kristin was holding the “The Marinara” purse in the picture, adorned with a white strap, which looks different from the green strap in the official stock photos. Perhaps more options were available for purchase at the pop-up store.
